What is a Pre-Sale Order?
A Pre-Sale (or pre-order) is a purchase made for an item that has been announced by trading card manufacturers (Panini, Topps, Upper Deck, Pokémon, etc.) but has not yet been physically shipped to distributors or our Redding, CA depot. By purchasing, you lock in your structural allocation ahead of global demand surges.

- If the market value of the hobby box surges before release date, you will **never** be charged an additional balance.
- Conversely, because allocations are secured immediately with financial distributors, we do not adjust or credit orders downward if market valuations fluctuate downward prior to launch.
Manufacturer Release Date Shifts & Delays
Estimated release dates provided on product pages are communicated directly by sports card manufacturers and are subject to frequent shifts, production alterations, or shipping delays. BoxBurst updates item pages as soon as official adjustments occur.
A shift in a manufacturer's release calendar **does not** constitute grounds for order cancellation or structural platform penalties, as your product allocation remains firmly reserved with our distribution channels.
Dispatch Logistics Upon Arrival
Once a pre-sale item officially lands at our California fulfillment depot on release day, it triggers our priority handling sequence:
- Order Handling Process: Prepared and packaged securely inside 1-2 business days.
- Transit Timeline: Shipped out via premium tracked courier arriving at your location within 3-5 business days.
- Note: If your checkout cart contains both an active in-stock item and a pre-sale item, your entire parcel will ship together once the final pre-sale box crosses our intake thresholds. If you want in-stock boxes immediately, please purchase them in a separate transaction.
